Proud sponsors of British sport

Just as with our approach to investing, success in sport is rarely just built on the performances of individuals. At Invesco Perpetual we are proud of our commitment to British sport, both locally and nationally, and at all levels – from grass-roots to the professional arena.

Rugby

Perhaps there is no better demonstration of this commitment than our support of rugby union.

In Henley-on-Thames we are delighted to be principle sponsors of our local team, the Henley Hawks and in recent years, our support of the Welsh Rugby Union through the annual ‘Invesco Perpetual Series’ of matches, has seen us extend our sponsorship of rugby on to the international stage.

This year, we will also be sponsoring the IRB Junior World Championships.

Cricket, rowing and equestrian

Away from rugby union, we are pleased to support both England international cricket and football matches – again as well as our local Henley teams: Henley Cricket Club and Henley Town Football Club. With Henley’s rich rowing heritage, its perhaps no surprise that we are also proud to support our local club, Leander Club.

In 2007, our support of British sport developed further, this time into the world of equestrian, with our sponsorship of the ‘Invesco Perpetual British Eventing Premier League’.
