James Robertson |
James began his career in the investment industry as an investment analyst. He joined the company in the UK in 1993 as Director for finance and corporate development for Invesco's Global Division and has had a wide range of responsibilities in the UK and Europe, the Far East and the US.
James became managing director of the firm’s global strategic planning and M&A in 1996 and then served as chief executive officer of Group Services from 2001 to 2006, and in addition undertook the role of chief financial officer from April 2004 to October 2005. More recently, James was appointed Senior Managing Director, responsible for Invesco’s Operations and Technology function in 2006 before being appointed in 2008 to his current role as CEO of Invesco Perpetual with responsibility for Invesco Perpetual in the UK as well Senior Managing Director responsible for our Continental European business.
He has served as a member of the Executive Management Committee since 1999 and the Board of Directors of our company since April 2004. James holds an M.A. from Cambridge University and is a Chartered Accountant.

Nick Mustoe
Chief Investment Officer, Invesco Perpetual

Nick joined the company in June 2010 and is currently working alongside Invesco Perpetual's previous CIO, Bob Yerbury, to ensure a smooth handover of responsibilities as part of the firm's long-term succession planning.
Nick's investment career spans over 25 years to date, having started with Phillips & Drew Fund Management as a UK equity manager in 1985.
More recently, he was appointed CIO of Pictet Asset Management in 2006 after joining Hermes Pensions Management as CIO in 2002.
Nick holds a 1st Class Degree in Business Studies from Bradford University.

Bob Yerbury
Senior Managing Director, Invesco Ltd

Bob joined the company in 1983. His investment career now spans 40 years to date, having led the North American equities team at Invesco Perpetual for 14 years, becoming CIO in 1997 and Chief Executive Officer (CEO) in 2004. He handed over his CEO responsibilities on 1 September 2008, continuing as CIO of the investment team in Henley and with his wider group responsibilities for the Investor's Forum and Global Trading.
From June 2010, Bob will be working alongside newly appointed Invesco Perpetual CIO, Nick Mustoe, to ensure a smooth handover of CIO responsibilities. Bob will remain an active Senior Managing Director of Invesco and be part of the Invesco Perpetual senior team, highly engaged with the industry.
Bob holds an M.A. in Mathematics from Cambridge University and qualified as an Actuary at Equity & Law Life Assurance Society. He is a Fellow of the Institute of Actuaries (FIA) and is Deputy Chairman of the Investment Management Association, the trade body of the UK's asset management industry. Bob was honoured with a Lifetime Achievement Winner award at the UK’s Investment Week-sponsored Fund Manager of the Year Awards in 2008.

Neil Woodford

Neil began his investment career at the Dominion Insurance Company in 1981, and has worked in both corporate finance and fund management. He became a fund manager with Eagle Star in 1987.
Neil joined Perpetual (now Invesco Perpetual) in 1988 and manages the Invesco Perpetual High Income Fund, Invesco Perpetual Income Fund, Invesco Perpetual UK Equity Pension Fund, and the equity element of the Invesco Perpetual Distribution Fund and Invesco Perpetual Monthly Income Plus Fund. Neil is Head of Investment for Invesco Perpetual.
Neil graduated in Economics and Agricultural Economics from Exeter University in 1981, and later studied finance at the London Business School. |
John Greenwood
Chief Economist, Invesco Ltd

John joined the company in 1974. He started his career in 1970 as a visiting research fellow at the Bank of Japan. After four years, in 1974, he became Chief Economist with GT Management plc (acquired by Invesco in 1998), based initially in Hong Kong and later in San Francisco. As editor of Asian Monetary Monitor in 1983, he proposed a currency board scheme for stabilising the Hong Kong dollar.
John was a director of the Hong Kong Futures Exchange Clearing Corporation for four years until 1991 and in 1992 became a council member of the Stock Exchange of Hong Kong, a position he held for twelve months. In that same year, he was an economic adviser to the Hong Kong Government and he has been a member of the Committee on Currency Board Operations of the Hong Kong Monetary Authority since 1998. He is also a member of the Shadow Monetary Policy Committee in England.
John is a director of Invesco Asia Limited in Hong Kong, Invesco Asset Management Singapore Limited, and the Hong Kong Association in London. He is a graduate of Edinburgh University and also undertook economic research at Tokyo University. |
